Booking Page

Customize your clinic's public booking page, choose which services and doctors patients can book, and share the link on Instagram, WhatsApp, and TikTok.

Every clinic gets a public booking page at sign-up. This guide walks you through making it your own and putting the link where your patients already are.

Your Booking Page

Your booking page lives at dentare.io/c/<your-slug>. Anyone with the link can visit it - patients, social-media followers, walk-ins. It shows your clinic name, services, working hours, and a button patients tap to book online.

By default, the page is filled in with your clinic name, phone, address, and hours. You can share the link on day one without configuring anything. Customizing it is optional, but a clean page builds trust.

Where to Edit It

Go to Settings → Booking & Forms and open the Online booking pages tab (https://dentare.io/clinic/settings/booking?tab=pages). Your clinic's public booking page is listed first. Select Edit on it.

The editor opens inside the same tab. Its sections sit as a row of tabs across the top, and a live phone preview stands beside them showing your real page at phone size. Every change saves as you make it, and the preview catches up a moment later.

The switch above the tabs is what puts the page live or takes it offline.

Page & Branding

Open the Page & Branding tab. Three things live here:

  • Page URL - the part of dentare.io/c/... that names your clinic. Changing it asks you to confirm first, because every printed QR code and every link you have already shared points at the old one.
  • Bio text - a short description of your clinic, up to 200 characters. Worth writing: AI assistants read it when they describe you to a patient.
  • Accent color - the colour used for buttons and highlights on the public page.

Background colour, fonts, hero styles, and card shapes are not adjustable. Every Dentare booking page uses one clean layout, tuned for a phone screen, so the only visual decision you make is the accent colour.

Services Patients Can Book

Open the Services tab. Every service has a switch that decides whether patients see it on your booking page. Use the search box to find one in a long list, or All on and All off to flip the whole list at once.

Service prices at the top of the tab is one switch for the whole page. On, every visible service shows its price. Off, none of them do. There is no per-service price switch.

Services you leave off still exist in your system. They are hidden from the public page only. Internal-only treatments stay private.

Doctors Patients Can Book

Open the Doctors tab. Any available doctor lets a patient book without choosing a person. The list below it decides which doctors a patient can pick by name. Useful when one doctor takes online bookings and others do not, for example while a new hire trains.

On the Free plan, only one doctor can be made bookable at a time. Upgrade to enable more.

Booking Rules

Open the Booking Rules tab.

  • Auto-confirm bookings - a booking becomes a confirmed appointment without anyone approving it. Leave it off if you want reception to look at each request first.
  • Require email verification - the patient has to confirm a code sent to their email before the booking completes. Hold slot for decides how long the time stays reserved while they do it.
  • Minimum advance booking - how close to the appointment a patient may still book, from one hour up to two days.
  • Booking horizon - how far into the future patients may book. The default is No limit.
  • Timezone - the zone the offered times are shown in.

Minimum advance booking and Booking horizon are clinic-wide. They apply to every booking page you have, including any widget embedded on your own website, which is why the editor notes it under both. They decide which times patients are offered, and Dentare checks them again when the booking is submitted, so an old page left open in a browser cannot slip a booking past them.

Share Your Page

The fastest way to fill your schedule is to put the link where patients already see you. Pick the platforms where your clinic has a presence and add the link to each.

Add to Instagram

Open your Instagram profile. Tap Edit profile. Paste the link into the Website field and save.

Most clinics see the first online bookings within a week of adding the link to Instagram alone.

Add to WhatsApp Business

Open the WhatsApp Business app. Go to Settings -> Business profile -> Website. Paste the link and save.

Patients who already message your clinic on WhatsApp now have a direct path to self-book without waiting for a reply.

Add to TikTok

Open your TikTok profile. Tap Edit profile. Paste the link into the Website field.

TikTok requires a Business or Pro account to add a website link. If you do not see the field, switch your account type in TikTok's account settings first.

The activation email we send when you sign up includes a QR code that points at your booking page. Save the image and print it. Common placements that work well:

  • The reception desk countertop
  • Appointment cards you hand out at the end of each visit
  • Waiting-room flyers
  • The back of business cards

Patients scan with their phone camera and the booking page opens. No app, no typing.

Languages

Set which languages your booking page is offered in. Open the Languages tab and switch on each one you want.

The list is the languages your clinic has enabled under Settings → Regional & Currency, so add a language there first if it is missing here. Patients see the page in their own language when it is one you switched on, and a small switcher appears when more than one is on.

Logo and Banner

A logo upload and a banner image are not customizable today. The page uses your clinic name in clean type at the top, which works well for a booking page where the goal is "easy to scan, fast to book."

If you want a logo to be visible to patients before they tap through, add it to your Instagram and WhatsApp profile photos. Patients usually see those before they reach the booking page.

Tracking and Marketing

To see how many people visit your booking page, where they come from, and how many go on to book, open the Analytics tab of the same editor and paste in a Google Analytics 4 or Google Tag Manager ID. Both tools are free and optional. See Booking Page Analytics for setup and GDPR notes.

Put the Form on Your Own Website

The booking page is the link you hand to patients. If your clinic also has its own website, you can embed the same booking form directly in it. See Website Booking Widget.
